My dear escape room friends, last weekend we played a total of 4 games at Outerground. First, I would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful stay. We felt very welcomed and at home. Now to the game: The Secret of Whitechapel is a first-generation escape room. These are games that are still largely equipped with classic combination locks. In our opinion, the game is perfect for a group of 3-4 players. With its selection of games, Outerground covers all genres, offering beginners as well as experienced players an optimal range of escape rooms. The puzzles lead the players step by step toward solving the mystery of the unknown figure causing chaos in London. The puzzles are thematically embedded in Victorian London as well as the story of the missing persons. The game masters were also excellent and always ready to assist if needed. This also shows how committed the staff are in fulfilling their role as game master. I can recommend this game, even though it is an older game, to experienced groups as well. However, beginner groups should definitely play this game, as it clearly highlights the basic principles of an escape room. Understanding these games and gaining experience in the approach of an escape room, in my opinion, forms the basis for successfully tackling more complex games later on. I hope that this room will continue to exist, and I would like to thank the entire team, especially our game master for the successful adventure. Best regards, yours Brian from Escape your Mind.
